Margarita Pizza Slices

Packed lunch pizza! Ditch the dough and use vitamin D and calcium enriched thins to create mini pizzas in a flash. Kids will love to add their own healthy toppings at teatime. Simply make a few extra, wrap them in foil and store them in the fridge overnight, and hey pesto! You have a ready-made fast-food favourite for their lunchbox.

Ingredients

2 Warburtons Half White Half Wholemeal thins
4 tbsp green pesto
75g mozzarella cheese, grated
150g yellow and red cherry tomatoes, halved
2 tbsp sweetcorn

Method

  1. Preheat the grill.
  2. Put the four halves onto a baking sheet. Spread the pesto over the base and top with the mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and sweetcorn.
  3. Place under the grill for 8 minutes until melted and crisp. Slice each thin into two.

TOP TIP! Make a kids pizza bar! Encourage them to explore new foods with small cups of colourful, healthy toppings, and a brush to “paint” on the pizza sauce.  Fun and food exploration in one!
