Green Goddess Pasta
My Green Goddess Pasta is packed with green goodness: broccoli, peas, spinach, and basil finished with a creamy blend of cream cheese and Parmesan cheese. Using Garofalo’s Fusilli Bucati pasta adds that extra touch of perfection to every forkful.
For a toddler portion we suggest that you use 50g of sauce and 25g dried pasta. For an adult portion use150g sauce and 100g dried pasta per portion.

Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil
2 small onions finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
350ml vegetable stock
150g small broccoli florets
75g frozen peas
25g baby spinach
3 tbsp basil, chopped
50g cream cheese
50g Parmesan cheese, grated (or vegetarian alternative)
500g Packet Garofalo’s Fusilli Bucati pasta

500g Packet Garofalo’s Fusilli Bucati pasta
Method
- Heat the oil in a medium size saucepan. Add the onion and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add the garlic and fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the stock and bring up to the boil, then add the broccoli and peas, cover with a lid and boil for 4 minutes.
- Add the spinach and basil and stir until wilted.
- Blend the sauce until smooth using a stick blender, then stir in the cream cheese.
- Turn the heat off and cool for 5 minutes, then stir in the Parmesan cheese.
- Cook the pasta in boiling water according to the timings on the pack of the packet. Drain and add to the sauce.
