It is so easy to whip up this Banana & Strawberry Ice Cream, and who doesn’t love ice cream on a warm summer’s day? This ‘nice’ cream is a much healthier alternative the whole family will love.

Ingredients

250g banana, sliced
250g strawberries, washed and hulled
1–2 tbsp maple syrup

Method

  1. Put the sliced banana and hulled strawberries in a plastic container and freeze for 4 hours, or until frozen solid.
  2. Tip the frozen fruit into a food processor with the maple syrup and blitz until smooth and creamy.
  3. Serve at once or freeze until needed
