Egg Free Chicken & Veggie Bites

Did you know that an allergy to eggs is much more common in young children than in adults? This is because most children outgrow an allergy to eggs.

Parents often ask me for egg-free recipe inspiration, so here is a fantastic finger food idea. Whether your baby has an allergy, or you don’t eat eggs by choice, these yummy Egg Free Chicken & Veggie Bites are packed full of goodness and are perfect for little hands and taste buds.

Ingredients

250g minced chicken thigh
60g red pepper, finely diced
60g carrot, grated
60g onion, finely chopped
50g dessert apple, grated 
30g Parmesan cheese, grated (or dairy-free alternative)
60g panko breadcrumbs
1 tsp dried thyme
½ tsp dried sage
5g garlic puree

Method

  1. Pre heat the oven to 200 Fan.
  2. Measure the ingredients into a food processor. Whiz together until well blended. Shape into 30 round bites.
  3. Place on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
