Super Salmon Puree

Oily fish is the best source of essential fatty acids which are vital for your baby’s brain and visual development.

Ideally you should include oily fish like salmon twice a week in your baby’s diet. Here’s a tasty Super Salmon Puree recipe to get your gurgling gourmet excited about fish for dinner!

Ingredients

1 tbsp sunflower oil
1 leek sliced
180g sweet potato, peeled and diced
50g tinned sweetcorn
200 ml vegetable stock
100g salmon fillet, skinned and diced
2 tbsp dill, chopped

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the leek and fry for a few minutes . Add the sweet potato and stock. Cover with a lid and simmer for 12 minutes until just cooked.
  2. Add the salmon and sweetcorn and cook for another 5 minutes. Add the dill, stir and blend to the desired consistency for your baby.
