Chicken, Squash & Spinach with Rice
Chicken, Squash & Spinach with Rice
Did you know that certain foods can help for more settled nights? Here’s how my Chicken, Squash & Spinach with Rice could help ease your baby into the land of nod…
Tryptophan: dark leafy greens like spinach, as well as chicken and wholegrains, are high in tryptophan which aids the production of baby’s sleep-producing hormone melatonin.
Calcium & magnesium: spinach contains these two vitamins in abundance, both of which contribute to muscle relaxation and can have a calming effect on the nervous system.
Complex carbohydrates: squash is a complex carbohydrate which will help keep your baby’s blood sugar levels stable, avoiding unwanted insulin spikes resulting in hunger wakings.
And choose a nappy that doesn’t cause wet wakings. Pampers Premium Protection Nappies have a Derma Comfort layer with 1000+ soft micropores to instantly pull wetness away from the skin and give up to 100% leak-free protection for 12 hours – and they are approved by the British Skin Foundation.
